I've lived a nomadic life, and I love traveling. I've done it personally and for work while in the military. I love learning about new cultures and different ways to live. I like to go out on the town, but not the noisy night club scene. I'm more of a brunch, followed by a museum tour, followed by Indian food, conversations and cocktails kind of girl. I'm very interested in finding amazing places to visit and maybe one day settle down in, as I know they are all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of having a "home" base while traveling. As well, as meeting people from different backgrounds than my own. I would love to have insight from a local, who is also passionate about travel, trying new foods and living the local life. I have a lot of places on my list I would love to visit, and would like to form a human connection while doing so.

Interests

I am always seeking new foods to try. I like local music scenes as well as art projects and displays. I love nature although I am not super rugged and outdoorsy, but I do love any area with a lot of wildlife. I love natural science and art museums. I also enjoy attending comic conventions, and anything with costumes.

I like alternative music. Like 90s alternative, but I really enjoy listening to the radio. Call me old fashion. I try to listen to upbeat music.
I'm a documentary nerd. I also like some horror, comedy and other nerdy movies.
I love anything Neil Gaiman, I'm obsessed with GoT and I enjoy Hesse a great deal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a talker, and I love to talk about just about everything. I have been in more than 30 states for various reasons. I lived in Japan for two and a half years and spent some time in the Philippines. I LOVE spicy food, so if you are seeking a companion who can hang with spicy food, I am your girl. I particularly love Indian curries. Although, I do love some "Thai hot" Thai food or getting some crazy hot, hot wings. I love trying new foods (even if they're not spicy) and love to just go out to eat and chat about anything and everything.
