Generally, I'm easy going and flexible, kind of silly and rarely serious. I'm sort of adventurous, and I'll rarely turn down the chance to try something new.

I try to surf while traveling, it is by far the best way to see a city! I hope to meet more like-minded folks in my new town of Kamloops.

I have couch surfed a few times, all on a bike trip I took a few years ago.

I am an avid cyclist and lover of all things wild. I love building/repairing bikes (and teaching others about bikes), hiking, backcountry camping, bird-watching, and cycle-touring. I don't mind spending days in though - I've spent many a perfect afternoon reading while awaiting a sourdough loaf to rise and nursing a pot of tea. :)

Music - Very open minded, I particularly like flobots, the weepies, first aid kit, radiohead, blitzen trapper, the cinematic orchestra, and mother mother. I always enjoying checking out live local shows.

Movies - I love funny and weird movies. Army of Darkness, the Labyrinth, and the 10th Kingdom (technically a mini series) are some personal favourites.

Books - Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake and Terry Pratchett's Going Postal are wonderful books. I'm usually reading several books at once and always looking for recommendations!

I rode my bike solo from Calgary to Vancouver, camping all along. To kick it off I did some bicycle back-country camping with in Banff. So much fun!
