Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read an article in a magazine one day in a cafe and soon I was so attracted to the story of this girl's couchsurfing experience. After that I became a member of couchsurfing and started by hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting people when I was a full time employee in Beijing since 2010. My first couchsurfer Miriam is now one of my best friends and I know this is a lifetime kind of friendship. Every time I looked at the references people wrote for me, the fun memories of hosting or being hosted just made me laugh!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of horror movies, super hero and car racing movies. But my knowledge of movies doesn't stop from there, I'm A Movieholic!! For music, I enjoy every kind of them under different mood and situation. But particularly jazz, classic funk, punk and hiphop. For books, I am really into Japanese mysterious and detective novels, but in general, I enjoyed Japanese literature very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked with one American and one Aussie from Perth to Darwin in 13 days with 25 rides offered by 32 people. It was 5300kms, camped in the middle of nowhere, slept under stars, lifetime experience for me.
