I'm a South African born and bred girl, with an incredible South African boyfriend (who I'll probably be travelling with). I haven't seen much of the world YET but that is definitely going to change. I studied art at school, and started studying a Bachelor of Visual Art, but switched courses to a Bachelor of Arts in Afrikaans and Economics, but I am currently studying Economics and Biology (simply put: confused). I play guitar and sing, and my boyfriend plays the drums. I teach guitar and piano lessons after work, and tutor math. I enjoy the outdoors and running, as well as a good party or quiet night at home watching TV. I'm also pretty spontaneous but like to plan where I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think that the best way to learn about a new place is to experience it with someone who lives there.
It's also a wonderful way to meet new people and helps us to be able to travel more and see more new things from different perspectives!

I can teach you a bit of Afrikaans, and if depending on the country and regulations, I'll probably bring a few South African snacks and items with me, and I can't wait to learn about all new cultures! I'm also not afraid to learn how to do things like you do, and help out where possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some insight into South Africa, and a good laugh, and a some kindness, as well as some South African meals!! I'm not really sure what else to put in this section... but I think I'd be a nice person to host as I'm easy going and can keep to myself and go and do my own thing, or join in and take part in what you'd like to show me of your area!
