Nothing pleases me more then laughter: that opening of the air passages and the squeezing of the abdomen until the need to breath surpasses the hilarity. Animals and people inspire me everyday to keep a positive outlook and think of the best even in the roughest conditions. Travel in particular amazes me in the similarities and differences within cultures and how a simple connection can lead to a wonderful lifelong memory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I take the opportunity to meet new people every chance I get! For now I am just a surfer, but hopefully when I finally settle down, I can open up my own couch for visitors.

Interests

For physical activity, I love pushing myself. Hiking, surfing and SCUBA diving are some of my favorite outside physical exertions but I also like mountain biking, rock climbing and backpacking. Really anything that involves nature and some sweat will please me. Outside of physical activities, I also love reading, cooking and conversing. Nothing is more fun then making a communal dinner with friends in a warm busy kitchen with some good tunes and a dog under the table!
