Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel like right now I'm at an unfortunately settled place in my life - I rent a house and I have a job I'm responsible to for at least a few more months. Until I can get back to traveling myself, I want to be a place others can come and relax and feel welcome while out on the road. I love being able to spend time with people and connect, but I also understand that sometimes on the road you just need a quiet place to crash for a few hours. Either way, you'll be welcomed here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few times now and love being able to contribute to someone's life and happiness in traveling. I like it best when someone stays for more than just a night. It gives time for the ice to break and to really get to know them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Grand Canyon was pretty great. You see it in a movie or in a picture, but it's a real moment when you first see it in real life. I hiked to the bottom with my dearest sister and it was quite the adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've got some pretty great hospital stories. I've spent two years on the floor of a cardiac floor and, let me tell you, some crazy stuff happens in hospitals. Crazy. Aside from sharing the ridiculousness of healthcare, I can teach you to drive stick shift, show you how awesome Arrested Development is and/or teach you how to plant a garden.
