ABOUT ME

I am 25 years young living and working in Austin, Texas. I returned from living in Korea in 2013, and have been living here ever since. I work for an international study abroad company, which is basically my dream job.

I love to explore new places! I particularly love doing as the locals do, not all the touristy stuff. I love seeing beautiful places, and love meeting people with beautiful souls. My goal is to go to as many countries as possible in my lifetime, meeting people and sharing life with them as I go.

My primary hobby would be reading. I love getting recommendations on good books, trying new restaurants, and making good friends.

I've lived in Louisiana, and Alabama, London, Seoul, and now Austin, Texas! I'd love to make friends anywhere in the world! Let's be friends! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Christian and I love Jesus. I try to live by his example; being accepting of everyone, withholding judgement, and loving passionately. I am sorry that so many people in this world have given Christians a bad name, but I want to be someone who changes peoples perceptions. My philosophy is that your attitude dictates everything! Keep it positive and positive things will happen.

I love to eat! I love fresh salads, pizza, pasta, roasted veggies, almonds, and almost any kind of cheese. I really like spicy foods, but I can only handle so much!

I absolutely love to read. Ever since I was young, I would prefer to sit with a good book in a comfy chair than do almost anything else. I love becoming so immersed in the world in my book that nothing else exists around me. I really think that reading makes a huge difference in our lives, from the very beginning to the very end.

I love wine, also. I'm not an expert, but I enjoy it. I'd like to try wines from around the world!

I'm very interested in history. Although I don't much go for the touristy attractions, I do enjoy a good historical site. I really like learning about "modern" history around the world. Ancient history is okay, but I like the past 200-300 years better. Wars interest me quite a bit, and my favorite museums have been war museums (London and Seoul).

I like markets and unique stuff from around the world. I like handmade things and beautiful unique art.
