ABOUT ME

I am addicted to new. I can't stay in the same place, with the same job, doing the same things, for very long. Something has to be changing. Something has to be new.

I try to pursue things that interest me, that challenge me, that provide a unique experience, and that give me a new skill or perspective - and the theory is that it will prepare me for and guide me to whatever it is that God has in mind for me.

I'm more of a traveller than a tourist. By that I mean that I prefer to go places for longer periods of time and learn more about the actual culture and lifestyle of the place to the point that it starts to become my own, than just zoom around to all the "highlights" and snap a couple pictures before moving on to the next one. (Although I also fall into that group on occasion as well.) ;) That being said, I am also known to always be taking pictures. I prefer to spend my money on experiences and adventures, so the pictures I take are the most valuable things I have.

Intereses

Dance. Every style. No really. Every style. I may not be as good at some of them, but I bet I've tried it or know someone who does it. I love dancing and watching people dance.

Languages!!! They completely fascinate me. And the teaching of second languages and bilingual education. Did you know that any language you learn as a "non-native" speaker is stored and processed by your brain in a completely different way??

Also...
new experiences and crazy adventures, sports (especially Hockey and American Football, and the best futbol team ¡Visca Barça!), international or intercultural endeavors, entrepreneurship, teaching, nature and outdoor activities, good beer, cooking and good food.

Well, probably the most bizarre experience was spending a summer in Russia working on an archeological dig.
