ABOUT ME

I have spent my life doing what is expected of me, and never really experienced anything. Rather than follow the beaten path, I now strive to blaze my own trail, experiencing new exciting adventures along the way. I want to travel the world, experience new ideas, people, cultures, and scenery. I love the outdoors and all sports, especially beach volleyball. Whatever adventures come across my path, I plan to take them in stride and enjoy them. Spontaneity and openmindedness are key in my life.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to make an impact in the lives of others. I think we are all interconnected, and that by helping one person, or smiling at another, you are also doing that for yourself. There is something new to learn from every person, no matter how seemingly insignificant they might appear at first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new member, but I plan to host others as well as be involved in groups in my area and visiting other couch surfers' homes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a small family in Sweden for a month last summer and had a blast, even getting to venture to Rome for one weekend and stay at a friend's flat there.
