I am a lover of animals, a teacher of young minds, and I believe in recycling! Travelling is important to me. I am currently living with my parents while I get the travel bug out.

Meeting people is important to me. Travelling on a budget is also important. I know that one day when I have a place of my own, I will be able to return the favour!

Interests

I have several hobbies including scrapbooking as well as making cards when I'm not busy teaching! I love horseback riding! However, I have sheep- not horses. Yes, I raise sheep with my family! It's a fun hobby on the side and we love the country lifestyle.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have always been a sucker for the brain candy! I love Jodi Picoult and the mysterious twists her stories always seem to have. I enjoy the classics too.

As for movies, I watch just about everything and anything. I like a good chick flick and also adventure. Pirates of the Caribbean will never get old! Neither will Shrek, a movie with a script that I nearly have memorized.

My taste in music ranges everyday from George Jones to Mötley Crüe. I grew up on a mixture of Bryan Adams and Bon Jovi. Our Lady Peace and Mumford and Sons make up part of my playlist for road trips and I've always had a special spot in heart for Coldplay. I jump around from the 80s up to good beats that fill the airwaves on today's hit stations. I am a lover of all things music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had an incredible experience building a house in Ecuador! I taught English and Gym with 13 other Albertans! The Galapagos Islands were absolutely amazing and I will never forget the gracious people I met from all over the world!

I took a little European adventure with 53 high school students and that was also quite the experience. The Vatican on Good Friday is unreal, especially when the majority of said high school students were exhausted from a good night out!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am rather crafty. I helped a lady in Salt Lake City make her wedding thank you cards and that was a cool couch surfing adventure. I also enjoy walking and adventures so if you're up for some company, I would love to share my time. I love to see the sites and hear all about your own life experiences!
