About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn about myself through this world and it's people. To gain self confidence and awareness and genuinely open my heart to the world as widely as possible.
ABOUT ME
I have a heart for people, and the friends I keep around me are very dear to me and impactful on my life. I love to learn new things and I feel that everyone has something to learn from and teach to every person they encounter. I can be deep and insightful, caught up by the perplexities and philosophies in life, but I also love to laugh and smile so I love the lighter side of life just as much!
PHILOSOPHY
Go with the flow and what is meant to find you will.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I have only given someone a ride but I am excited about the possibilities CS has to offer. I would love to be hosted while in New Zealand and see the land from a local perspective.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far so good!
Interests
Language fascinates me as well as music, photography, and art. I am a cake decorator as my profession, but my creative mind never really seems to shut off :) I would love to pursue more art or learn how to actually play an instrument.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Almost Famous, Seven Pounds, Donnie Darko, Fried Green Tomatoes.
Music: I'm a sucker for anything acoustic. Folk. Classic Rock. A good jammy beat.
Books: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... others are slipping my mind right now :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I remember camping with some childhood friends a few years back and we decided to lay out under the stars and for the first time in my life I got to see the milky trails of our galaxy painted across the sky. In that moment I felt so small yet my existence seemed so profound. It was such a simple moment, but I will never forget it.
I also visited Hawaii in 2011 with some friends and faced my fear of swimming in the ocean for the first time and it was incredible. The way the water forces you to surrender and trust it with such amazing grace yet undeniable power had me in such awe. It really deepened my respect for this Earth.
Teach, Learn, Share
My goal right now is to kind of learn what it is that I have to share. I'm not sure exactly what I have to offer, but I'm hoping as I meet people this will become cleared to me :) I would love to learn anything about music, language, cooking, sewing, and art!
