Solo backpacker, Chinese lawyer, part-time Juris Master candidate, try to be a TikToker

I started my solo travel in 2023, after I quit my job in one of the top law firms of China. The initial of quitting my job is to fully prepare for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination for the Master of Laws. I used to be a traditional girl and compliant to my parents, but I wanted to experience different lifestyle thus I rent a room near the seaside in the most west province of China. After that I started to explore the whole China, meanwhile, waiting for the result of my examination. Then I felt traveling in domestic was not enough, I began to travel in Southeast Asia. I found this world had so many things that I still need to explore, so I keep traveling by myself. After one-year’s travel, I came back to china and found a job in my hometown. I can’t adapted to the life there, but I need to study and work in the same time. I felt myself like a robot but to promote myself I need to keep up. At the end of 2025 I finished all of my classes in school and I said goodbye to my boss because I decided to become an independent lawyer. Thus I awarded myself with 4 months traveling in Eurasia.
So far on this trip, I’ve seen love, happiness, kindness, anger, longing, warmth, passion all around me. I believe every experience is a lesson in life and I really enjoy it.
