adventurous, sporty, reading lover and curious cat!
BA in sociology and Chinese literature. Now doing media and communication study in London.
In this post modern era, every single person have their own right to define and interpret her/his own life (normally by experience), every single person has her/his own story. It makes us unique (and sometimes lonely oops). Due to the unique context of everyone, conducting a 'real communication' is hard and it's a complex process. but possible. I'm not pessimistic in this sense :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've heard from my friend and thought it's a brilliant idea, why not have a try? And register then (at that time I was travelling in Japan loool)
I am a person who LOVE CS this idea and LOVE to meet people through it as well (host, surf, meeting......). I like the concept of exchanging need. There's something more than money. (so the other websites "www.helpx.net" and "www.workaway.info" are two volunteer exchange networks I used to involve in as well. check them out if you don't know them! I'd like to send this gospel to you!) To experience the incredible lovely friendship base on trust and respect, how a lovely thing? I do know in the future, when I am (even more) busy on the work or family or any other things in life, I might not be able to do CS, but so far so good, would be happy to stay here with everyone!
In Beijing hanged out with surfers. In Hong Kong, both be hosted and hosted and meeting! some of them you could see at references. It was so lovely experience I do miss you all!
It's always good to share each other's stories, thoughts and life experience. and some of surfers would become life long friends, that's a lovely thing. I learn the trust and respect from CS. Even I know all those fabulous experience always work well in CS world, still feel amazing every time, always grateful :)
