Hey this is Fangye Chen, from China mainland. I've been living in China for more than 20 yrs. In 2013, when I was 21, I went to a southern city in Sweden for exchange semester and I had many chances to travel in Europe (I collected 10 countries :p), and it was my first time to go outside of my country. Sweden is my top country at that time, where I never have a feeling like this that I've got myself back!! Then I applied for this master program coz I really wanna go back to Northern Europe so I chose European Master in Tourism Management (EMTM) with which I need to finish my 1st semester in Denmark. So now it is my 3rd semester in Spain, I have been here since September, I was in Ljubljana till June this year. Now I would say my top 5 countries are: Portugal, Malta, Turkey, Spain, Sweden. Hope I have chance to discover Africa and Latin America in 3 yrs!!

I see myself as an 'adventurer' since my German friend gave me this title hahah. I like to backpack in destinations, most of time I travel alone and meet people in the half way and we keep discovering the world.

Also, I love trying new instruments, I learnt ukulele, Chinese bamboo flute, and harmonica. My next target is drum!! I feel like finding myself back always after I finish running and just had my 1st 10km competition last October. I love swimming but I have fear in deep water. I tried swimming in Aegean sea that's the part I fell in love with Turkey. Also I should strongly recommend the town 'Kas' and city 'Antalya' in Turkey, especially at night, unforgettable!!

I admire people who are really passionate about doing what they love and never give up the belief. Be open and friendly ;)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I had my 1st CS in Madrid, 2nd Gothenburg, the Swedish city, 3rd in Zurich, 4th in Gothenburg again, 5th in Marseille, 6th in Bologna. CS is truly a bridge to let me walk to the unknown destinations where new friends are and just give me the priority to discover the unknown and I am addicted in this feeling. People is the most important factor in my life especially the new friends!
