Overview
About Me
1. Please be an open-minded, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) friendly, non-racist, non-religious discriminative person if you're gonna ask for my host or accept my request :)
2. Please at least mention my name in your request. I think we all agree that this is basic manner, or I might have trouble answering your request. Please call me "Red" so that i know you've gone through my profile :)
3. I have to work during the week days from 8am to 5pm, but I "want to" hang out with my guests after work and during the weekend. And once in a while, I can take days off to join your day trip in Taipei :)
4. I live in Yonghe District, New Taipei City presently. The place is small but enough for you to stay i think :) My place is 6 minutes walk from MRT Dingxi station, and I have a scooter, so the transportation should be just fine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To cure my sociophobia and your homophobia :)
I love different languages and cultures. If you are interested in Chinese, I would love to do some language exchange. However, what attracts me the most for couchsurfing is not just to practice the language. What I love is to make connections with people, to have long deep conversations, and most important of all, to make friends :)
Interests
singing, traveling, hiking, movies, language learning, tennis
I am a tennis fan since junior high school when i saw Pete Sampras playing on TV. My favorite player was Pete and then Justine Henin. Presently, i like Nadal and Djokovic. Obviously, being a tennis fan, i would like to do all four Grand Slams salute one day (i.e., Melbourne, Paris, London and New York City).
Music, Movies, and Books
I love singing and watching movies. I like all kinds of movies from all around the world. Many friends of mine don't like horrors, but come on, they're exciting!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trek around Kangrinboqê in Tibet within two days (highest spot is 5600m and the distance is about 52km)
Teach, Learn, Share
I travel a lot all around Taiwan during the past four years right after I started to work. Hence I am quite familiar with the traveling sites in Taiwan. I can recommend a bunch of places to go depends on what you are looking for. And, if I am free, we might go together!
