I am a Taiwanese and now studying my MSc degree in the Netherlands. For me, the best way of traveling is to plan a week long holiday and ride my bike along the planned stops and finally arrive the final destination. By doing so, I enjoy the feeling of discovery and finding unexpected things. I am an uncomplicated, easy-going, open-minded person and love nature and outdoor activities quite a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew Couchsurfing quite some time ago, but start to really use it after my friend introduces to me. Right now, I am studying my master degree in the Netherlands and just have many more chances to visit the neighboring countries. So why not meet some new friends, cultures and also save traveling budgets?!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quite like to set up some interesting goals and always challenge myself a bit every time.
In 2009, together with my friends, we cycled around Taiwan, which is around 1000km in 12 days. It was very fun and great exp.
In 2014, again with my friends, we cycled to the highest road of Taiwan, 3275m, from sea level altitude.
In 2016, I made it to the highest mountain of Taiwan, Jade Mountain, with my friend in one day. This is something definitely worth trying for everyone who visits Taiwan in the future.
