I am a senior university student in China. I study English although I am not really good at it. (shame) I will spend my next semester in Korea as an exchange student. I’ve developed great interest in making friends from different places and learning about different cultures since 2016 I came to the US and it was the first time I went to another country. Gradually I also become more inclined to travel because it is an effective way to communicate with local people and share a deep understanding in each other’s life.

I am open-minded, friendly and honest and I place great importance in honesty since it is the foundation of trust. I care for people’s feelings so if anything I do makes you confused or uncomfortable please tell and I will make it right.

I am quiet and bit serious in front of people I am not familiar with, so it might take some time to reveal myself.

I haven’t tried Couchsurfing but I have been always willing to experience it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, I want to continue my trip for economical reason. Then I really want to learn about cultural differences and stories of different lives. Also, making friends with people from all over the world helps me become more open-minded and acceptive. By exchanging stories and explaining the reasons I hope we can understand why the differences between us exist and know how to deal with similar people in future.

I listen to kinds of music, but Jazz-hip hop is my favorite. I watch TV shows and talk shows more than movies, and most of them are American. I read a lot of articles but barely finish a book.
