ABOUT ME

I'm optimistic and amiable. My friends usually say that I have a strong sense of responsibility and always try to do the best I can. They may describe me as: foodie, music maniac, supergirl, linguist, to name only a few.

PHILOSOPHY

This October, I attended a 2-day seminar for Buddhism and till today I've been thinking about the Buddhist philosophy. I believe in Karma, and I believe we are interconnected by an invisible network. Whatever happens, whoever you meet, there must be a reason. I keep in mind that every stranger I meet deserves a "thank you".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Currently a total green hand. Australia will be the first country my friend Fan and I try couchsurfing. Hope to have fun!

兴趣

I love learning foreign languages and using them to communicate with people from different places around the world! So communication is one of my strengths. I like reading novels, detective and science fiction in particular. Singing is another hobby. I'm not good at sports, but I am into travelling. Sometimes, I just walk for 5 hours and won't stop^_^

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Recently I've been awed by the Pakistani girl Malala Yousafzai and her courageous efforts. There are so many inequalities in the world, but what really matters is to fight hard and bring changes.

Another amazing thing was a temple I visited this September. It's located in Shanxi Province, the origin of the Chinese civilization. The temple was established more than 1000 years ago. At the very beginning it was used to worship Nvwa, the creator of the universe in ancient Chinese mythology. There are two 3000-year-old trees in the temple, one leaning on the other. The scenery is rare and interesting!

Fan and I both majored in International Relations back in university years. So any discussion on international affairs is OK. We sing a lot, cook Chinese dishes, travel around within China.
