ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Cheo. I'll be couchsurfing the northeast and canada between 20th dec and 5th jan. if anybody is willing to put me up for any amount of time, email me or call me 831.430.6397. Due to the weather, I am in desperate need for a place to stay a night or two.
As for me me, i'm a 21 year old linguistics student at UC Santa Cruz. Besides english I also speak a bit of german, spanish and some french. To get over my fear of heights, I went skydiving. This spring I plan on learning to surf.
I'm an outgoing traveler looking to gain insight into the world around me through personal experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Look below. Whenever I go on a trip, i try my best to find a couch because the best way to get to know an area is by hanging out with the locals. I try promoting couch surfing in my apt area because I live with a bunch of visiting foreign students who also love traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've couchsurfed in the US, Hungary, Germany, and Italy. My frosh year of college I had a german exchange student crash at my place for almost 6 months.

Interests

Oh wow, what can i say, um, i like everybody and everything. Travel, socialize, chillaxing. I spend alot of time volunteering and donating blood whenever I can. Like a typical college student, i like naps, video games, late night food and exploring the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost anything, but mainly music not played on the radio or international music; lately i've been listening to alot of ska-p and banda bassotti. I havn't been reading much lately (besides textbooks); but i did enjoy catch-22, brave new world, nectar in the sieve, crime and punishment, metamorphosis (in german) and ... .

Teach, Learn, Share

Right now I don't know what i would like to learn, i guess it depends on who i meet. We can teach and learn from each other. Now that I think of it, i'd like to learn how to play the harmonica and how to cook regional food because the harmonica makes for a good travel instrument and who doesn't like food?
