Hi, I am a master student in Shanghai, China. Now I am in my exchange period in Maastricht University, the Netherlands. I have been attracted by European culture and now I want to explore it as much as possible. During the past few month I have been to Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, Hungary, Austria, Germany... I love traveling cuz I can meet different people and learn about various cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it a good chance to experience the local culture. Also, it is a great chance to meet people with different cultural backgrounds. I am now an airbnb host and I received a lot of people who come from different countries like America, Korea, Germany, Holland, Spain. It is great fun to talk with them and share with each other! We can hug the whole world in our home!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading! I can spend a whole day with a book and some snack. I read a lot ! The last books I read are the series by Marc Levy, a French writer. My favorite book is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, which gives me courage to face the difficulty in life and has great influence on me.
I also like all kind of movies except action movies. Some of my favorite are The Da Vinci Code, Interstellar, Gone with the wind...
I like listening to music though I don't have much talent on it. I have been to Vienna to listen to Philharmonic!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organised a denotion activity for the children in remote area in China. We collected a lot of books and clothes and even money for them!
I traveled alone in Eastern Europe and I am planning to travel alone in Switzerland and France!

I am learning Japanese but I am really a beginner.

Now I want to learn French after my visit in Paris!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I grow up in China, a country may be quite different with yours. During the past few months, I have been to Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, France, and I will go to Switzerland to spend Christmas! So I can share my travel experience, and Chinese culture (If you are interested ) with you.
