To Learn Spanish more fluently at the moment. I want to travel as much as I can and meet new and exciting people!
Hi my name is Cherish Walker... I joined this site because I for one would like to travel more.
I am learning Spanish so at the moment I would like to stay with a household that predominately speaks the native language or at least speaks it fluently.
I am African American, American Indian, Canadian, Irish, English, Dutch, German and Creole. I think all the ethnicities in me have caused me to crave culture and learning more about it.
Live live w/o regrets. You only have one why not do everything you crave! God is so good, he made this beautiful plant, the animals and humans so we could get to know them all!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I haven't had the opportunity to participate yet but hopefully in the next week or two I can fill this section in. I just signed up and can't wait to start attending local events and hosting my couch!
I have yet to couch surf, but I can't wait to fill this in as well... Who wants to be my first host!!??
I love singing, dancing, fitness, healthy eating and lifestyle, learning about history and culture, traveling (don't we all), cooking healthy (and sometimes unhealthy.. I love cupcakes) Eating, eating, eating (I have a weak spot for pizza, mashed potatoes and fish; I am a vegetarian), reading and of course massage and holistic healing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love self help books.. currently I am enjoying Tapping the Power Within (a path to self-empowerment for women) by Iyanla Vanzant. I just finished The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.. the Toltec way is pretty agreeable and interesting way to think.
I grew up on Reggae with a Jamaican step father so I still love it, it takes me back every time I listen to it. Spanish music is beautiful, R&B, jazz, Zydeco, contemporary, Christian, Gospel... I pretty much like it all except hard rock and twangy country.. although I've let some slide.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have bungie jumped, not sure how i did that one cus it freaks me out still to this day. I have delivered babies as a doula. Im still on my journey to see something amazing!
