Overview
About Me
I'm a 28 year-old registered nurse who loves traveling and seeing new places. I've been fortunate enough to be able to see a lot of the world but I've definitely been bitten by the travel bug again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and see new places. I'd rather "live like a local" and get the inside scoop than just be a tourist.
Interests
I enjoy reading and own mostly fantasy and sci-fi novels. I'm particularly fond of urban fantasy and have recently become obsessed with stories told by an unreliable narrator.
I do photography as a hobby and like to wander around town or go to the various local interests to take photos. Right now I'm doing mostly landscapes so I've been visiting the local botanical gardens.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mostly indie/alternative and some of my favorite bands are Imagine Dragons, The Hush Sound, Hozier, Zella Day, Passenger, Muse, Silversun Pickups, and Mumford & Sons.
I like a huge variety of movies and shows from classics and musicals to science-fiction and horror. I think my all time favorite movie ever would be the Labyrinth. Half of that is nostalgia and the other half is David Bowie in leggings. You know what I'm talking about.
I own way too many books to pick a favorite. The last one I read was The Girl on the Train and I enjoyed it a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a smaller, quiet city that's just an hour from Orlando and the theme parks and 40 minutes from Cocoa. My house is a 10 minute drive to a beautiful beach. And we have some of the best food in Florida. There's a quaint little historic downtown with local/independent shops, non-chain restaurants, and unique bars.
My house is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath and you would be staying in a fully furnished guest bedroom. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and just a short drive from US-1 and I-95 for easy and fast traveling.
I have a dog (corgi) and two cats so guests must be pet-friendly.
Singles and couples are welcome.
I work night-shift so someone who will be gone visiting attractions during the day or entertaining themselves quietly is necessary as I sleep during the days when I'm working.
