Oh...Ok. I was born in a metropolis and I am now leading a "miserable" life in a rural midwestern town in US--of course for education. |That shouldn't be enough...| I am curious about everything, well, not "every"thing but almost everything, esp. about the part of the world that I have never seen. I study communication so I am good at communicating.........(sounds awkward!) | Still not enough? ...Yes! People say that I am CHILL.

PHILOSOPHY

There is an ancient Chinese philosophic saying: to govern by non-interference. Well, I apply that to my life. To make it simple: I choose not to choose.

Music (Trip-hop, electronica, down-tempo, alternative, some indie-pop...some metal), blogging (sorry...in Chinese), cooking (wanna try AUTHENTIC Chinese food? hah. well I also bake decent cookies, cakes and other western style stuff, and I make great pasta), reading (although through these years academic reading is killing my general reading capacity...) ------ I don't need to include traveling, right?

Music, Movies, and Books

I devote my heart to British sitcoms.......from Black Adder, Jeevers & Wooster, Fawlty Towers, to Black Books, Coupling and IT Crowd (basically everything...except Little Britain, that's out of my boundary).

Also watch a lot movies. If you want me to give some big names, then probably...Fellini, Almodóvar, etc. Basically I'm open to everything.

When it comes to books...I am more into...I don't know! such a hard question. I pick books randomly. To be honest I read more Chinese books, but when I was back from Florence, I went directly to the library for "Brunelleschi's Dome: The Story of the Great Cathedral in Florence", so it depends.

The Mezquita in Córdoba, Spain. There is no adjective deserving it. Just go there...

More things occurred to me...RUINS!!! I love ruins. I went to Italica(Spain), Medina Azahara(Spain) and Ostia(Italy) during my stay in southern Europe. Love all of them. Wish I had enough time for Tivoli...

I have to add this!!! Wandering in alleys full of Chinese parasol trees -- typical pleasure for autumn in Shanghai.
