About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Instead of looking for myself, maybe 'create'?

ABOUT ME

They'd say I am the rock of the group, but also the one with the craziest stories. I have lived large and without regret; hopefully that reflects on my outlook and in my personality. I do believe my friends would say i haven't had a boring day in my life!

PHILOSOPHY

Everything that had to happen, happened.
And yet, nothing did.

It's the way i look at life- there are no regrets, no missed chances, no lost opportunities because if it was meant to happen, it would have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just joined CouchSurfing although it was first introduced to me by a friend's friend in Belgium. I did end up sleeping on his couch, which was covered in crisp crumbs and smelled of stale beer, but i was just so happy to have found a 'bed', i didn't care

Interests

I like walking. Boring as it sounds, it's the best way to engage a new location. The sights, the smells, the noise, the colours- none of them are registered through a taxi window!
I like travelling. No, make that, i love travelling. I've been doing it since i was 1 year old so i've never known otherwise. Whether it be backcountry Asia or upscale Europe, i've indulged my senses in the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Drum n Bass is a solid way to get through the day. It perks me up no matter the hour. Soca, bashment and reggae ;
A word on Fifty Shades: not what i was expecting out of a bestselling trilogy. It's so poorly written my eyes were watering!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've skydived 15,000ft in view of New Zealand's Franz Josef glacier
I've seen the pyramids
I learned two more languages simultaneously
I went sailing for the first time and knew i wanted to do it all over the world
I've embarrassed myself on national tv

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Egypt, Morocco, Netherlands, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Iran, Italy, New Zealand, Philippines, Spain
