ABOUT ME

I grew up on a little island of 1000 people in BC, spend most summers working as a kayak guide at home, and the odd winter guiding in Costa Rica. i finished university last may, and after a roadtrip down to Costa Rica (by car), I am currently going by motorbike from Costa Rica to Panama, Colombia (by boat), and through the Andes.

I love to experience new places and meet new people, serendipitously or otherwise. I love to cook, and always prefer a home-cooked meal and a good conversation to going out to a restaurant. I travel light, without a set itinerary, and without expectations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS, and am currently traveling, so hoping to surf and experience new places through meeting the locals. I am also looking forward to hosting once i get home to Canada, first on Galiano, BC, this summer, then in Montreal, QC, come fall.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any official CouchSurfing experience, but have stayed with people I met traveling and hitch-hiking in Europe, and have hosted complete strangers and many friends of friends.

Interests

I love the outdoors and love exploring, whether hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, motorbiking, roadtripping, hitchhiking etc. I also enjoy a good conversation, a good coffee, and a good book.
