Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing for a few years already but I did not really make use of it in the past as I was once a not very open-minded person who is too afraid of everything.
I am back to couchsurfing again because I have decided it is time for me to meet new people, learn and accept different cultures, be open-minded about everything and improving myself.
One day when I have finally got my own house, I would love to welcome and host anyone who visit to my country.

Interests

I love to travel. I love to listen to other people's stories while traveling to places. I love to learn the good things from others, regardless of thinking, lifestyle, manner, etc.
I love to learn languages. At the moment, I am trying to learn Japanese from my friends whom I met in the backpackers hostel in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many genres of music. I love music that is especially played with an acoustic guitar. Recently, I am introduced by my friend to listen to wider range of music, from techno to instrumental. I also like to listen to songs that have very meaningful lyrics.
I am that very into movies kind of person. My passion for movies range from blockbusters to small indie film. These few years, I am getting myself to enjoy more comedy-ish films as they always bring laughter to me and make my daily life seemed lighter.
I am quite picky while choosing a book to read. I have read young adult story like 'Harry Potter' and 'the hunger games'. I read about biopic like 'Wild: from lost to found on the pacific crest trail'. I also love travel books and photographs books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What I have done recently might not be considered as truly amazing but it is a massive turning point to me when I decided to quit my job to travel to Australia with a working holiday visa. For me, keep expanding my own perspective of life by trying to learn from other people's experience is what seemed to be the amazing thing to do. I have not actually done it yet but I'm working on it, trying to be a better person.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be my pleasure to teach you anything that you want to know from me, for example, I can teach you to cook simple local food and learn my native languages.
I love art, I used to draw until I give it up as my life is moving too fast with works and stressed. While I am traveling now, I wish that whoever I met can share their inspiration on art.
I love to cook too though I'm not a good cook. I wish to learn some cooking skills from people around the world.
I would be happy to share my travel experience, culture and perspective of lifestyle.
