ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Vancouver and now living in Melbourne, Australia

I first experienced life outside the Canadian bubble when I went on exchange to South Africa for 6 months. The experience made me more open to trying new things and a desire to live abroad.

Been in aus for over 3 years now with time split mostly between Sydney and Melbourne. I recently moved back to Melbourne and mostly based here now. I also spend time back in Vancouver, Malaysia, Taiwan and a few other spots in Asia. Drop me a line if you're in those areas.

PHILOSOPHY

On life: For myself, I think that if you can find something fulfilling for yourself, other areas of your life will also prosper. Life is about making a mark on the world and finding your place.

On travelling: I used to think travelling was about seeing other parts of the world and doing different things outside your home country, but I see traveling as a way to broaden your perspective on life and learn from those experiences. All the moments you can't capture on camera... The bus trip from one city to another... The random conversation with the local at the restaurant. I love the unknown adventures, chasing serendipity and meeting new people. I enjoy being an ambassador for countries I visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with CS'ers a few times in Malaysia and Singapore. It was my first surfing experience and it was cool to get a different perspective on life. When I'm not busy or need a break from work, I like to head out to local CS events. I've also helped organize some CS events back in KL. I'm happy to show people around or hang out if you're in Melbourne or any other city I'm in.
