Overview
About Me
Small town Kentucky girl, who is living on the Emerald Coast of Florida. Traveling for me is living (cheesy I know). I feel most excited about life when I'm in new environments and experiencing new things.
I'm honestly a pretty shy person by nature (although I love listening to people talk and learning from their stories), but that is not at all how I want to be, so meeting people and being social is a needed practice! I am a full time nanny and PRN Patient Care Tech on a Cardiac floor by day, and I run a small vintage resale business by night.
I’ve got a thing for road trips:) Before I got married I drove from KY to KS, CO, WY and then back to CO in about 13 days. I was 19 and flapping those wings lol. At 20, I drove from KY to AL, MS, LA and then FL where I lived for a bit before it became my permanent residence. I took many other smaller trips to places like Chicago and St Louis but those will never measure up to a week long go where the wind takes you trip.
Since getting married in 2020, my husband and I have visited about 12 states together so far. Our honeymoon (in 21’ thanks to covid) was a week long expedition all over Colorado. We rented a van and spent a day exploring in many different cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
I could talk about music for days... I'm mostly into 70s/ Folk/80s Pop, not what's on the radio! Fleetwood Mac will always be my favorite, but I also love Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, ect. My record player and I are close!
Favorite Movies: Into the Wild, Forest Gump, Back to the Future, The Butler, and Almost Famous.
TV Shows: Freaks and Geeks, That 70s Show, GirlBoss, Grace and Frankie, Good Girls Revolt, Sex and the City and of course, Friends!
Book wise, Wild by Cheryl Strayed is my all time favorite. Behind that is probably The Help by Kathrine Stockett and The Body Keeps the Score by Bassel Van Der Kolk (I’m a mental health nerd lol).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Stevie Nicks live (twice!), skydiving and climbing the Manitou Incline.
