Hi, my name is Cheyanne, I am 22 years old, and a student in the US. I travel a lot for school, including Ghana, Costa Rica, and most recently Peru. I study sociology and anthropology, so I love learning about new cultures and adapting to different lifestyles. I am very much a go with the flow type of person, who loves nature.

I am on couchsurfering, because I have stayed at many hostels and I am interested in finding something new. I am also interested in connecting with locals, in a hostel environment it is easy for places to blend into each other and to constantly be interacting with only foreigners. I hiked through the savannah in Ghana to find wild African elephants, and successfully battled a baboon to keep a pack of crackers.
