Hey! I am a Biochemistry major and Sophomore at Salem College, a small women's liberal arts college, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am the oldest of five kids, I have an intensive background in the performing arts (specifically musical theatre), and I love the outdoors (whitewater rafting, bouldering, camping, hiking, etc.). Travelling can be insanely expensive, and I am new to Couchsurfing and hoping to use it to make exploring the great unknown a little more affordable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am specifically joining Couchsurfing currently in search of a place to stay in Portland, Maine for one night. I am flying from Atlanta to Boston and then proceeding to take a bus from Boston to Portland the same night; however my girlfriend (who is working in Maine as a camp counselor) cannot come to get me until the following morning. So, I either get lucky and find a safe and nice place to stay on here, or I will be living it up at a Denny's for a night. Even a floor would be much appreciated.
