Overview
About Me
My Chinese name is Chia-Hsuan Tsai. You can also call my English name, Maria. I seldom go abroad, but I am an active person who usually travel alone when I have free time. I meet different kinds of people during my trip. I like the traveling because it makes my world wider. I like traveling. I hope I can go around the world one day and learn their culture.
I am a one-year exchange student in Japan . I hope I can learn the Japanese culture during this year. I just come here from October, so I haven't have time to travel here. I would appreciate it if you can tell me what is interesting here or we can travel together in my free time.
Although I enjoy lonely, I have spent time to play with my friends. I was a member of Philharmonic Club. The music is my favorite interest except traveling. Music is borderless. I usually figure out the country from their music. I listen to different country’s music and find out their features. These features make me want to learn their country and their people. Therefore, I want to meet different people in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn the different culture and people just like all the couchsurfer. Also, I think traveling is uneasy and full of challenge. If we can find a person who can give us advice, the travel will be easier.
Interests
I think I like traveling because I like to experience new things. Finding out the difference and new thing is exciting and internet and traveling are the common way to accomplish it. However, I prefer traveling because picture cannot pass all the feeling of the view.

I seldom watch movie but I like reading. I read many kind of books, business, science, engineering...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have traveled Taiwan alone by free ride. It is not common to have a free ride in Taiwan. Therefore, it is seldom to see a woman to ask for a free ride. I did this because I want to tell everyone especially Taiwanese that you can trust people in Taiwan. Most of the people around me always think couchsurfing and free-ride are dangerous. I want to tell them that the friendly people are more than villain.
