My name is Chia-ling and you can call me Amy as well. I come fromTaiwan which is a beautiful island near south east of China. I am currently studying Energy Science and Technology in Zürich. I am open-minded person who loves to hear any amazing experience and also share mine with others. I also love to share special Taiwanese dishes since Taiwan is well known for its delicacy! I am quite talkative, but I am also a perfect listener. I love outdoor activities and spending time with the nature.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Right now, I just began my master program. I have been far away from home and it is my first time being in Europe. I want to experience the true European lifestyle and also to have a taste of European culture. It would be wonderful if I can have some company during my trip. This is my chance to see Europe! I am looking forward to it.

I don't read very often but I have read the "hunger game" and "don't trust anyone". They are quite good.
I love Chinese pop music and like to listen to classical music. I can play some piano, flute and a little bit of guitar, very little bit.
I love watching movies and the latest movie I have seen is Upside down and it's the best animation I have seen in the cinema.
I also like the series of Sherlock and the comedy, Mr. Bean!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was 15, I went to the US for exchange. It was my first time going abroad. I have learned how to express myself in a social situation thanks to my host mom. From then on, I have become travel-loving. Also, I went to Cambodia as an international volunteer. It was their smile that made a huge impression on me!

I can teach you Chinese, Taiwanese, and how to use chopsticks accurately, unless you are already an expert! :) I have been to the US, China and New Zealand for exchange. I have been to Cambodia for international volunteering services and also I have been to Japan and Korea just for tourism. I can share the experience of you are interested!
