Hello friends!

I am currently back in Italy after 14 months in South America. What an amazing adventure!
I am so grateful for all the help, company, adventures, kindness I received by complete strangers in all the world through this app! So I really want to give back; I want people to feel as much welcomed as I was lucky enough to be during my travels, and I want to start hosting.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: currently I am not living inside Rome, I am living in a beautiful country house surrounded by a nice garden in a town a little bit out of Rome (San Cesareo, check it on the map); from here you can move by public transport even if it is a bit slow, or I if I am free could give you a ride to the train station of Zagarolo (10 minute far by car) so that in half an hour you are in Rome; the last train to come back home passes around 22.30.
I can host you on a couch in the living room or in a tent in the garden; otherwise, if you are lucky, you may also find a free room.

I cannot leave the keys of the house but I am almost always here or close; sometimes also my dad comes here to visit; I live with two beautiful dogs, super lovely, so I hope you have good relationship with animals.

Nearby, apart from being anyway very close to Rome, we are in the beautiful countryside and can enjoy walks in the forest, in the fields or in the lovely old villages of Zagarolo, Palestrina, Colonna, Tivoli.

I spent the last 2 and half years travelling in the world through volunteering projects. I'm a very curious person. I love traveling, meeting people, making unusual experiences, and most of all listening to interesting histories and share adventures.

I love adventures in the nature but also in the city: cooking, dancing, playing guitar, making some art together...
So, let's go and share some time together :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I love the exchange and meeting new people. When I travel, I don't like being just a tourist going around to see all the most known sites and then rushing away. Meeting new friends while traveling is a great way to get into the real place's soul. When I cannot travel, I like the world to visit me here: this makes special my daily life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost everything, both modern and old style music, with a particular love with music that involves classic guitar, and trip hop. In the past I played piano and drum, now I am learning classic guitar.

About books, my favourite authors are of Jean Giono, Hesse, Saramago, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Tomasi di Lampedusa, Oriana Fallaci. I also read many essays about anthropology and traveling.

About movies, one that I really love is Mr Nobody. I also love to watch tv series, as Lost, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Vikings and others, but actually in the last years I tried - with success - to 'desintoxicate' from this, because I realized it was taking too much of my time that I want to spend in other ways.

I can teach you something about music, italian cooking, languages -french, spanish, portuguese...-, italian lifestyle, anthropology and parkour - and other things.
I would really love if we can play some instrument together.
