ABOUT ME

I come from a small village in the pre-Alps, near Verona, in North-Eastern Italy. I have lived in Asia for a few years and I have experienced the African continent, where I have worked as a Project Manager for an international NGO. I’m not working at the moment.
I like to know the world in its natural and cultural beauties, and human diversity. In each new culture I get the chance to know, I try to find a little bit of myself and to learn something that can make me a better person.
I don't smoke. I don't need brand clothing, a big house or an expensive car to be satisfied about my life, because I think life quality is determined by other factors and we can find much enjoyment also in small things.
I truly love to travel, since when I was a child and I could mainly only dream about it. I enjoy good food and interesting conversations, and even more to combine the two things together. Contact with nature is what allows me to recharge my batteries the most, therefore I love hiking, gardening and any other outdoor activity.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Travelling is not about the number of places you visit during your stay in the country, but about getting connected with the people you could meet, either locals or other travellers. Couchsurfing allows people to connect and share, like the neurones of the brain.
Unfortunately, at the moment I cannot host, but as soon as I’ll have a place of my own somewhere in the world, I’ll definitely do it.

兴趣

I love my profession, because it makes me feel helpful to others. There are so many ways of doing this and each person can find her own way. We are not islands and the purpose of our lives is to make the world a good place to live in for everyone. Being connected and giving ourselves to others is the only way to make this become real.
In my free time I enjoy simple pleasures, like reading, cooking, listening to music, meeting with friends. I like good company, but I don't need to hang out with anyone just for not being alone. I don't mind doing things by myself every once a while.
