About Me

I'm kind of an introvert, but don't give up on me just yet! :)
I live with my partner and our two children, aged 3 and 5. Although we're a quiet family, there’s always music playing in our home.
We love hiking, nature, sci-fi books, and children's literature

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm hoping to expose my children to English, as we speak it with them
- although as non-native speakers- as well as different cultures and ways to live life.

Interests

I started indoor climbing a couple of years ago.
I played the piano for a couple of years then I stopped, although I think about going back to it from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Sega Bodega, James Blake, Serpentwithfeet.
Last film seen: Hidden Figures, 2016 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hidden_Figures
Books: I'm currently reading This moment is your life by Mariam Gates and Good Inside by Dr. Beckie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed a whole mountain in via ferrata, amazing experience.
I gave birth twice :P

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Italian and bits of the Italian culture/cuisine. Passionate about children's psychology and cycling in Milan with two children.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories I've read, places I've visited, our food, and a warm, clean place to stay overnight.

Please note that we can only offer a couch in the common area—the living room—and a private bathroom. Unfortunately, we don’t have a spare room for visitors.

Life with two small children is busy, and our schedule is quite structured. The house needs to be relatively quiet from around 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

So, BEWARE: If you enjoy sleeping in past 6:30 AM, you might struggle! Once the kids are up, they’re both noisy and nosy—haha! Also, we have breakfast between 6:30 and 7:00 AM in the common area, which is right next to the couch and kitchen. So, once morning arrives, there’s no chance of sleeping in!
