About Me

⚠️ Just to be clear:
I don’t share a bed with men. I’m not here to flirt or date.
If Spanish is your native language, please write to me in Spanish :)

Hi, I’m Isa, from Chile!

I’ve lived in Germany, Canada, and now New Zealand, and sometimes I'm still learning English, one funny mistake at a time.

I’m friendly but a little shy at first. I blush easily and sometimes forget my words when many people are looking at me. Once I feel comfortable, I can talk for hours about books, travel, or life stories. I believe that when you share a favorite song, poem, or photo with someone, you are showing them a part of your soul.

I love nature, photography, and simple adventures that don’t need much money but create good memories. I’m happiest walking through a new city, exploring museums, or sitting by the sea with an ice cream. My favorite days are the quiet ones that include long walks, laughter, and good company.

I don’t drink much, I don't smoke or use drugs. I prefer to wake up early and go outside. I’m curious about everything: local food, new languages, different ways of living. I’ll try almost anything once, especially if it’s spicy, and I’ll probably ask a lot of questions.

I love baking, especially sweets. Peanut butter and chocolate are my weaknesses. I also love reading, especially science fiction and classic literature. Asimov and Bradbury are two of my favorite authors.

If you host me, you’ll find that I’m respectful, clean, punctual, and quiet. I like helping with whatever needs to be done: cooking breakfast, cleaning, walking pets, or helping with small tasks. I enjoy being useful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the world feels kinder when people help each other.

I love cultural exchange, learning from others, and connecting through genuine experiences.

I believe travelers are like soul siblings who move through the world with curiosity and courage. If I can make someone’s journey easier or more meaningful, I will.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Asimov, Bradbury, and any story that makes me think or feel something new.

Music: depends on the day, sometimes indie, sometimes Latin, sometimes silence.

Movies: I enjoy stories that stay with you for a while, even if you can’t explain why.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought a one-way ticket to Europe and ended up staying for years. I moved to Germany without knowing anyone, learned a new language, and built a life from the beginning. It taught me that nothing grows inside a comfort zone.

Now I live by this:
Relax, nothing is under control.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish, share stories about Chile, and cook something sweet for breakfast.

I’d love to practice Italian or German, exchange travel stories, and maybe write a few postcards together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a punctual, clean, and organized guest who respects people’s time, space, and routines. I’m usually quiet and easygoing, so if you enjoy peace at home, we’ll get along well.

I always clean up after myself and try to bring good energy to any place I stay. If you recycle, I’ll help. If you have a pet, I’ll love it. If you want company to explore your city or just share a walk, I’ll happily join.

If you welcome me into your home, I’d be glad to prepare breakfast or help with small tasks. I enjoy cooking, organizing, or simply lending a hand wherever I can.

I love sharing moments with locals because that’s how you really get to know a place. Whether it’s a chat over tea, a walk through the market, or a quiet evening at home, I’ll appreciate it.

I can teach you Spanish, and I promise we’ll have a good laugh while practicing. Me encanta conversar y compartir una tarde con una taza de té y buena compañía.
