I am an artist who travels the show circuit during the summer months attempting to sell my photography at art festivals. I live on a farm in rural Missouri, and try to live as sustainably as possible. My garden and canning keeps me in vegetables year round, and my meat all comes from the farm. I have honey bees, and grown shiitake mushrooms as well, and am a bit of a woodsman bird watcher. A large part of the farm is restored prairie, which involves different practices to maintain. I have become a bit of a handyman during my country education, and can repair most things. I love music of all sorts, and think it is the key to uniting this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel around the country to art festivals and occasionally need a place to crash for the weekend. I am completely willing to host as well, but am pretty far off the beaten path, so don't expect many will need my couch. Also, I am always up for making new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are always changing, but right now it is Rubblebucket, Alt-j, Thievery Corporation, Santigold, Tune Yards, and The Low Anthem. Also, Big Lebowski!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last winter I completely disassembled my tractor and actually managed to get it back together and running like a top. Surprised myself even!
