About Me
CURRENT MISSION
cycling around britain
ABOUT ME
I've been into theatre from birth. Love music and have vague ambitions that I'm working on to becoming a primary school teacher. Am cycling around britain at the moment so need places to stay, I have a very heavy bike at the moment with all my gear and would love to be able to ditch my tent. i have done various bit of building work - lime pointing, interior destruction and renovation. I have also done a bit of luthiering. Have made a guitar and currently working on a violin as well as puppet making... i love food and cooking too
PHILOSOPHY
i'll wait till i'm a bit wiser till i figure that one out - don't linger on things (thats a good one) always look a head but never take your mind off of where you are
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a home in edinburgh that sits in the centre of town. Folk can crash on my sofa when i'm around. Currently, i'm just crossing the pennines and am primarily looking for people to stay with on the course of my journey towards the south west of england.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none via the internet although I have stayed on peoples sofas. I'm very respectful of peoples ways of living and more than anything would just appreciate a place to dump gear as well as get the chat with folk if they're up for it and want to show me around... I'm not fussy.
Interests
music, history, puppetry, society, walking, cycling... i like languages but i'm not very good at them...

Music, Movies, and Books
ask me when i meet you - not into metal or hip hop (unless they're really good) - apart from that i can deal with most things - i'm a bit of a psychedlic funk nut
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
went to school in india for 6 months and studied indian dance for a little bit as a kid. have travelled a lot. Appams are probably the most gorgeous breakfast ever! cycled through the pennines yesterday, they were magnificent. big glazier type hills that practically killed me.
Teach, Learn, Share
gaidhlig, (bits and pieces at least) songs i find are a great way to learn. I always love learning how to make food and am generally good at learning if i'm actually doing it. I'm not a theory person. I'm not the wisest of folk ubif you there are some things I know i just can't remember what they are... music and food, bits of dance, making...
