ABOUT ME

I currently study in London for my Master's degree in Middle East Politics. I was born and grown up in Seoul, Korea. I have a lots of various interest on other parts of the world and love to meet new people. I hope to be involved in the CouchSurfing project by both sharing my space for travelers to my place and asking to share other's world with me. Looking forward to seeing you here and there!

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I was doing some part time jobs in Korea for native English teachers invited by the Korean government, I have lots of foreign friends from various countries. I heard about CouchSufing from some of my English teacher friends and they also told me their great experiences. At first, I tried it in the US for surfing and met a really cool friend there. I was very touched and that experience led me to be interested in this project further.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have one surfing experience in the US and one hosting experience in Seoul, Korea. I wished to do both more but I did't have enough time. I look forward to having more experience as time goes by.

兴趣

Travel, of course. The really good thing about travel is experiencing something exotic such as culture, language, lifestyle or food. But the best thing about travel is actually meeting new people, I believe. We cannot spend enough time with new people we meet during a trip, but we can build the relationship further even though we are back in our own places. I also have meet very good friends while traveling. We keep in touch and even visit each other's home if there is a chance. That is very great and the thing I constantly pursue.

I am not a music-person. I mean, I like listening to music but I rather keep listening to the music I already know. Of course, I would love to discover new one! Please help me :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

To be honest, I was very positively shocked when I discovered CouchSurfing first. How could people offer their rooms to completely strange people and stay at absolutely strange people's place? However, I soon realised that this works based on human being's very natural personality, being good and trust.
