ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling alone, for this is the way I can face myself and know more about who I am. I like independent travel, because I can take control of the traveling, just like take control of my life. I seldom go abroad, but while leaving my country, I always want to be adventurous. I think it's just like the training for me.

I studied Earth sciences during my college, and that's also another reason I want to explore the nature and the world. Right now, I'm a Ph D student in oceanography. I'm always excited that I can have the experience of research cruises during my life. After all, life is short and limited, and therefore, I need to make full use of the time to enjoy everything happened.

I like to chat with people. I want to know a lot of similarities and differences between our people, cultures and societies. Although I am kind of introverted, but perhaps just through several talks, I think we can know each other more.

I was introduced to couchsurfing by my colleagues. Through this type of traveling, I think I can communicate more with local people and learn more from you and your culture. I also want to make friends from all around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experience in my life. Therefore, I'd like to expand my vision with this method and enjoy different types of cultures.

I enjoy music than movies or books. I prefer pop music, sometimes I even enjoy country music or the music that is experimental. I like the music that can strongly convey the thought and spirits to the audience most.

I think that what I can share with you is the cultures of Taiwan. Let's chat and I'd like to share all the good stuff in Taiwan to you, like oolong tea, Taiwan's beautiful scenery, etc.
What I want to learn from you is the language you use in your daily life, the culture in your society and the attitude of your people toward the world. I eager to know more from your point of view. This is also the reason I want to have more contact with local people.
