I love to tell stories with my hands. I'm learning how to live on the road for an extended period. One day I hope to be able to bring my writing work with me wherever I am in the world. I recently took the major, first step and now I'm starting to work out the bumps.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing is one of the greatest uses of technology I have come across. I have been a host many times in New York and have been hosted once.

Going to China and Nigeria and Israel in the same year was a really good study in contrast. Beijing is so modern and huge, while Lagos is nearly as big and mired in the early 20th Century.

I have degrees in Urban Studies and Journalism so I love to look at cities and the stories they tell.

I love language and talking about the way we communicate. I also like cooking and eating. I might have mentioned the eating part already, but it's important.
