ABOUT ME

My life is founded on laughter and play.

I study theater at The Juilliard School in New York City.

I desire to be of use in this world. Aside from creating and performing, I work with kids, teenagers, and adults helping them to experience and express through their bodies, release the tension which restricts the power of their voice, and provide the space for them to let down their shields and connect to another through breath and presence.

But most importantly, I try not to take myself too seriously. I enjoy being rediculous and I hope you do too.

A little about me...

I'm grounded, happy, easygoing, outgoing, funny, smart, self sufficient, lively, and have a great sense of humor. I am charged through this life by connecting with all that is around me- people, nature...inanimate objects, you know.

I love the outdoors, water, mountains, bike riding, dancing, horseback riding, story telling, crude humor, red meat, whisky, marionettes, tiny streets, animals, surprises, boldness, strength, love, compassion, giving, sharing, delighting in the beauty all around, and skinny dipping.

I've lived in New York since I was 18 years old and have been fortunate enough to grace many stages of different worlds, spanning the main stage of a theater to the underground of burlesque.

I LOVE to DANCE! My dance training is primarily in Ballroom and Latin dance. I love to dance swing, salsa, tango, waltz, jive, quick step, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba, you name it! I'll even throw in a little jazz hands here and there...

I love photography.

In my lifetime hope to produce more than I consume, heal more than hurt.

Oh, and I love gnomes.

I would be happy to meet and talk with anyone visiting. Hopefully soon I will have a couch to offer for guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a guest and fellow traveler, I am very respectful of personal space and time. I like to share company with all sorts of people but I also enjoy exploring and being on my own so please do not feel pressure to have to "entertain" me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One time when I was riding the subway, for a few seconds I genuinely thought, "Oh my god, I'm not wearing pants!" Then I thought, "Oh well, I'm not waiting for this train again."

It was a bizarre feeling. And very exciting :)

Hmmmmm....I can teach women to tassel twirl. Ha ha! Seriously though, I can.

I would be happy to help you release your full voice.

I can take you through some yoga and my personal favorite: Qi Gong, a moving meditation from ancient chinese medicine which cleans and strengthens the organs.

I can teach basic juggling.

I would be happy to go dance with someone ANYWHERE. Even teach some basic ballroom, perhaps.

I would love to learn the native dances from the cultures I encounter.
