ABOUT ME

I am originally from Manchester, England but moved to Canada 26 years ago and have not looked back.
Have travelled many places and still have lots more places to visit.

PHILOSOPHY

I grew up in a family that encouraged me to help people out if they needed it. I still live by those rules and my door and fridge is always open so come over and make yourself a meal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to see more people register to this site and offer help to travellers so they can get to know all about this place we call earth. It's an opportunity to give back after I have been offered kindness and a place to lay my head when I was travelling and most in need.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I picked up a hitch hiker a couple of years ago and was dropping him off near my house so he could go on to Skagway. He didn't know the ferry he was supposed to get didn't leave for 3 days. I let him stay at my house as he didn't have anywhere else to go. My boyfriend took him hiking and we showed him around. He left after 3 days and went to Alaska for the summer. On his way back he stayed for another couple of days until he went back to Australia
