About Me
I'm currently a full-time Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia and recently graduated with a BSc in Genetics & Physiology. When I'm not busy hitting the books, I LOVE hiking, petting dogs, pottery, cooking, doing yoga, and baking!
I live in the beautiful city of Vancouver! I previously lived in Calgary for 8 years and before that, I lived in Klang, Malaysia for the first 10 years of my life.
I enjoy meeting new people and immersing myself in the local culture! I'm always excited to learn about coffee shops and bookshops I can check out, as well as local hikes. I'm really terrible at languages, but will always attempt to learn the local language. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Bombay Bicycle Club and ABBA are an all time fave, Florence & the Machine are amazing in concert (!!!!), Adele knocked my socks off in concert as well, and Boy & Bear are wonderful.
MOVIES: I'm a sucker for a good rom-com. I've watched The Proposal at least 12 times.
BOOKS: Harry Potter has inspired me to no end and I'm also a huge fan of Night by Elie Wiesel, The Book Thief, The Center Cannot Hold Me by Elyn Saks, and anything by Diana Wynne Jones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have ridden an ostrich.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to dance like an 80 year old grandma, sing like a tone-deaf dog, and the ins and outs of your DNA! I can also teach you how to make a wicked banana bread.
I would love to learn your language/slang!
