I grew up in Taiwain. For one reason or another, i end up in the literature department, which i have nothing to whinge about. I fancy films, novels, a bit art, i suppose. I enjoy wandering around, riding my bike and perhaps mountain trekking.

J'ai grandi a Taiwan, un pays qui n'est pas reconnus par la Chine. Je suis etudiant en litterature anglaise. On apprend aussi francais a ma fac. J'aime lire, aller au cine. Je peux pas dire que j'aime l'art. Des fois, c'est pas facile a comprendre. Je vais pas faire semblant d'y comprendre. Je fais du velo, du trekking et surtour j'aime bien me promener partout sans un but.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to see different things, to meet different people and to know more about other cultures. I still find it quite hard sometimes to get the chance to know more about other countries. Hopefully, couchsurfing can be an eye-opener for me.

J'espere voir des choses differentes, recontrer des gens de pays differents ainsi que leurs cultures. Mais, je trouve qu'en tant qu'etranger, c'est toujours difficile de connaitre une autre culture. Peut-etre, couchsurfing m'aiderait de voyager d'une facon differente!

Interests

I love travelling. In order to travel, I have been working as a waiter in a small bistro at Taipei. I fancy reading, watching films. I have not had a blog; however, i sometimes write short stories when i am inspired.

J'adore voyager. J'ai un petit job a temps-partiel dans un petit bistro pour gagner un peu d'argent pour voyager. J'aime bien lire, regarder des films. J'ai pas de blog; mais, j'ecris des petits histoires de temps en temps.

Music, Movies, and Books

Murakami is my favourite author for the moment. I began with his Norwegian wood, which rendered me terribly depressive. If asked which is my favourite from the author, I will certainly go for 1Q84. It is almost like an action film while reading it. It makes me fall for Japanese culture. Aside from classics, i enjoy reading Kundera, Duras, David Mitchell and etc. As for films, it seems that french cinema is appealing;however, there are loads of cultural references and plays on words. I am quite keen on knowing more about it.

Murakami est mon ecrivain prefere pour le moment. J'ai commence par son roman, Ballade impossible. Ce livre est un peu glauque! J'adore son livre publie y a deux ans, 1Q84. On dirait un film d'action celui-ci. Je lis aussi Duras, David Michell, Kundera etc. Pour les films, le cinema francais me fascine. Je suis un cours de cine fr a la fac depuis 2 ans. Mais, j'ai encore des problems a comprendre, surtouts, des references culturelles ou des jeux de mots.
