We are world travellers, keen to meet like-minded people and to share cultural and life experiences. We lead an active retired lifestyle in a rural setting by the sea. We are keen to show our guests the secret natural environment of the Nature Coast.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We particularly invite mature couples arriving with their own transport. Guests are encouraged to arrive with (at least) 1 bottle of wine and be able to cook or assist in cooking a meal from their national cuisine. In addition, we only accept international tourists who are prepared to share their travel stories. We are great entertainers who would be offended if the sole purpose of their visit is to find free accommodation in their journey between Sydney and Melbourne.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are keen to share our life experience and learn from other
travellers. We have surfed and hosted. Do not believe CS response rates, we respond to ALL hosting requests.

We lead a busy and actve life outside the paid workforce which includes many outdoor activities ~ swimming, cycling, walking and fishing. We particularly enjoy sharing experiences with fellow travellers.

Travels through Canada, particularly the Icefields Parkway.
Observing sunset over Ankor Wat Cambodia.
Looking into an active volcano in Java, Indonesia.
Cycling through the Loire Valley, France, with the Eurobug cycling group.
Visiting Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon,viewing the many stupas and temples in Bagan and experiencing life on Inle Lake - all in the emerging country of Myanmar (Burma).
