HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host and be a couch surfer - I think staying with someone creates a better experience than just staying in a hotel/hostel!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been a host a few times! I hope to be a couchsurfer in the near future though! :) I absolutely love the idea of couchsurfing - it's so wonderful to meet people from all over the world!

兴趣

I spend a lot of time going out and exploring new places. I'm interested in politics, international affairs, reading, art and culture. I enjoy travelling and find that it is the best way to learn about other countries.

Amelie, Persepolis, The Godfather, Batman, Marvel movies (The Avengers! <3), Alfred Hitchcock movies (can't beat the classics!), Quentin Tarantino films (You can never go wrong with those!!

Orwell is my favourite author. I love reading dystopian novels such as 'A Brave New World' and 'A Handmaid's Tale'. Being British, I, of course, adore Sherlock Holmes - both the books and the BBC series!! Not forgetting the all important Harry Potter books! I love reading political, historical and philosophical books. I also enjoy reading crime books, such as Jo Nesbø.

For music I like a bit of everything - Staut, Mumford & Sons, Natty, Will.i.am, (my friend) Rainbow Puker, Ludovico Einaudi (the guy is a God!), Johnny Cash, The Smiths, Bowling for Soup, Editors, Kyo.

Volunteered in Kenya for a month doing community work.

Took an internship for a Human Rights lawyer in Capetown, South Africa, working with Refugees.
