Born and raised in Louisiana, moved to San Diego right out of high school. Planning a move to Germany in the next 8-10 months. I run a small development/digital marketing company that I'm trying not to let eat me alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfing: I'll stay in a hotel when I evolve into my final form, which I'm certain will be Ouiser from Steel Magnolias.

Hosting: When you work from home, you start to forget how normal people act. (Half joking. Half.)

- Having a few drinks and debating a philosophical topic with someone capable of accepting (and rebutting) devil's advocate arguments
- Playing Halo until my hands cramp and I remember that I'm not 12 anymore
- Frisbee golf with a backpack of beer
- Studying German and subsequently lamenting the complexity and scope of German declension
- Getting toasty and writing songs on the piano that I promptly forget and kick myself for not recording

I can cook and I don't mean "I can make eggs" cook. Unhealthy, decadent Cajun, food? Check. Classic American fare? Check. Fresh, delicious vegan or vegetarian? Check.

I get bored with food easily so it's something I've spent a lot of time working to keep interesting. I'm like the Pandora of cuisine - tell me what you like and don't like and I will deliver.
