Hi, we’re Sarah and Coco from Cologne, Germany. We’re both university students – Sarah is studying Digital Journalism and Coco Sign Language Interpreting. Right now, we’re traveling through Italy and are excited to meet new people along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

I (Coco) really enjoy listening to a wide variety of music. I mostly enjoy old Rock such as Dire Straits, CCR, RHCP, Jimmy Hendrix, Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac etc...
Apart from that, i listen to a lot of 80s-00s Rap and the old Kings like Biggie, Nas, 50ty, DMX, Snoop...(also a bit of german and french Rap). I can also enjoy Reggae & Dub, a bit of Indie or classical music. I'm always super open to discover new songs and genres. As I played the drums and the guitar since I was a kid, I'm really interested in music and it's wide & wonderful variety.

I love watching movies as well. I would say my favorite movies are those with a good soundtrack, so I would choose "O Brother, where art thou?" as the best movie i've ever saw.

When it comes to books, i mostly read modern philosophical books. I'm a big fan of the Frankfurt School inculding Erich Fromm, Adorno, Habermaß and some more awesome and leftist minds. I try to get a good variety of books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the greatest memories I have was walking the Camino Portuguese in 2019 together with my mother. It was a bonding and unique experience. On our way we met so many interesting people and heard a lot of stories. The landscape was definitely one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen 🌻

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would consider myself a person who's keen on keeping my space clean, so I will do anything to respect your home and help with the housekeeping.
