I'm a recent law graduate from Bristol University, and I hope to become a fashion and beauty writer (and eventually have that novel published!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a recent graduate and freelance journalist, I rarely have a healthy bank balance! This means that staying in hotels is out of the question, and not something I enjoy anyway, as I'd rather meet new friends and properly immerse myself in local customs. I travel abroad so much, and also have to spend short periods around the UK for internships, so I'm always in need of a roof over my head and some interesting company. Plus when I finally lay down some roots, I'd love to welcome people to my home and hopefully make lifelong friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a varied taste in music, but mostly love indie rock, classic alternative, and basically anything with a good guitar riff! I'm always up for listening to new bands and love going to see live music. I'm a huge movie nerd, and love dark gritty dramas the most, although I'm an unashamed horror fan as well as the biggest Lord of the Rings geek you'll ever meet! As a writer, I'm unsurprisingly a bookworm, and my favourite author is F Scott Fitzgerald. As well as loving the classics, I find myself mostly reading crime thrillers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great cook, and would love to share my food with my hosts (my brownies are legendary.). I'm also full of energy, and love to explore new areas so if you wanted, you could challenge me to introduce you to a cool new place in your own area that you've never been to! I also have an account on borrow my doggy, so can provide access to any dogs, like some kind of canine dealer! Oh, and if you're into make-up, as a beauty writer, I take my kit everywhere I go and offer free makeovers!
